HOW DO I KNOW WHOLLY WATER ® REALLY WORKS?

Product performance claims are based on certified third-party laboratory tests by Terra Labs, an independent 3rd party laboratory with NSF / ANSI Standard 53 (health effects) and NSF / ANSI Standard 42 (aesthetics, chlorine removal, taste and odor) certifications.

Was also tested and certified to be bacteriostatic. Product materials were certified to be FDA Food Grade. The filter media we use are the highest quality available, such as KDF. KDF has its own patent, and this material has an incredible amount of certified testing.

KDF process media are high-purity copper-zinc granules used in a number of pre-treatment, primary treatment and wastewater treatment applications. KDF media supplement or replace existing technologies to dramatically extend life of the system, control heavy metals and micro organisms, lower total cost, and decrease maintenance. KDF process media work to reduce or remove chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulphide, lead, mercury, calcium carbonate, magnesium, chromium, bacteria, algae, and fungi.

KDF media utilizes an old process in a new way - the oxidation and reduction of ions, known as redox. In short, the redox process works by exchanging electrons with contaminants. This give and take of electrons converts many harmful contaminants into harmless components, such as chlorine to chloride.
Other contaminants, including heavy metals, bond to the KDF media, which greatly reduces or virtually eliminates these substances.

KDF process media control micro organisms in two ways. The first is a by-product of redox; the exchange of electrons sets up an electrolytic field in which most micro organisms cannot survive. Secondly, the process of forming hydroxyl radicals and peroxides from some of the water molecules interferes with the micro organisms' ability to function.

You may not even realize that KDF process media are working for you. KDF media is the core product of many filtration systems and can be used in conjunction with other products to provide superior purification.

Patented KDF process media consist of high-purity copper-zinc formulations. These substances exchange electrons or bond with chlorine and other metals contained in the water to create harmless substances.

Through this basic chemical process known as redox (oxidation/reduction), KDF process media works behind the scenes to rid your water of chlorine, lead, mercury, iron, and hydrogen sulphide. The redox reaction also inhibits the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi. As an added benefit, KDF media reduces lime scale, mold, and fungi in your tub or shower.

KDF process media are completely safe. KDF media meet EPA and Food and Drug Administration standards for levels of zinc and copper in potable water, so the process is not toxic and does not cause any adverse side effects.

KDF media are environmentally sound and 100 percent recyclable, but refer to the instructions enclosed with your filter or system for proper disposal, as different manufacturers combine KDF process media with other filtration technologies.

Our water filter uses patented leak-free, push-button, quick disconnects to make the self-cleaning backwash cycle so quick and easy. A simple reversal of the in & out lines, open the sink-mounted water fountain, let it run down the drain 5 to 10 minutes, reverse back, run a minute or 2, and you are done. Do this every 3 months, and it will give better water at the end of 6 years than most filters do when they are new. Our system has been manufactured since 1989. Many of these original units are still in use today, and their owners have told me it is the best investment they have ever made! I give the longest real warranty in the industry - 6 years.
