Dual media filter bed comprised of naturally mined minerals:

1) Anthracite filters out sediment and particulate to pre-clean water before going into the Pyrolusite filter media bed.

2) Pyrolusite is a mineral form of manganese dioxide effectively removing iron - sulphur - manganese from problem water when used correctly. Has been used in different forms for the treatment of water for more than 75 years. Works on the principle of a catalyst reaction. A natural choice, as no chemicals are involved in the filtration process. Works on the highest level of surface oxidation available today. Over 20 times greater oxidation capacity can be achieved over any other media oxidation filtration technology such as greensand or birm.
